Blues and Greens Festival

A Mississippi Delta Experience

The Hank Burdine's Blues and Greens Festival is an annual event located in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

The festival was established support blues musicians by promoting the hospitality, food, history and the talents of all the people in the Mississippi Delta.

BB&G is a family style festival with all local and authentic atmosphere.

This is Where the Blues Started.

Today, Hank met with blues man ... Jimmy "Duck" Holmes! Here's Hank's message to mission control.

Jimmy "Duck" Holmes, from the Blue Front Café in Benton, Mississippi, is one of the last original "blues men" from that area. His influence in the Delta Blues will be portrayed at the Burdine Blues and Greens Festival by several of the musicians playing in the Grain Bin.

Blues and Greens is a down home festival, featuring down home blues musicians, down home people, and down home food.

And Jimmy Duck, will be ... Getting' It On!

The Burdine Blues and Greens Festival is a unique opportunity to list to great music and eat great food. But it's also the best way to meet the people who made it all happen, people who are continuing the legacy, and the people who tell the stories, just a little better than most. Fun ... with a purpose!
